Hi, I'm Cindy Ryan. I began in music entertainment in 1979. While managing a local record store, I started DJing at WSUC radio station in Cortland. Between 1980 and 1985, I  worked as a club DJ at Rocci's restuarant . I did my first mobil DJ job at a wedding reception in 1983. I continued doing weddings and parties throughout the 80's while working as a business representative for N.Y.Telephone (Verizon). In 1991, I left the phone company to persue DJing full time, forming OFF THE RECORD (yes, when I started, I was using 2 turntables). 

   I'm always accompanied by my husband, Ed. One thing I can tell you about Ed is that he's a fanatic about good sound.  He's made many upgrades to our sound system over the years in the pursuit of the best sound quality.  But just as important is reliablity. Our system is made up of all professional equipment and we carry a back-up system to every event.              

   For over 20 years, we have been providing unique, personalized Disc Jockey services for people desiring exceptional entertainment. From weddings and family gatherings, to corporate parties, I have the ability to entertain guests of all ages. I am also happy to act as "master of ceremonies" and make any needed announcements.
